Why do you keep CC'ing me on things that have nothing to do with me?
Because I love you so much it allows me to be 95% happy about your new van and only 5% jealous, because I know someday I’ll get a van too because surely at some point I will have the means to do so… and knowing this allows me to be 90% happy for you and only 10% jealous! 
I’m just keeding! I’m excited for you, but thank you so much for not getting an Odyssey, that might have been more than I could bear lol!

Five years old today, and it blows my mind!
Today, the day we celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Audrey Elizabeth, I say to her, Happy Birthday.
And to my wife, I say this:
Thank you for awakening me during my slumber that August night. How fortunate that the specific seed which fertilized your ovum was able to find the correct fallopian tube, for any other of my seed would have produced a different child. Thank you for nurturing her during the nine months of gestation. And thank you for the work of labor, in which you pushed this child through the birth canal and into the world.
Tonight, to celebrate, we shall have Red Lobster, and cake!!!
My best friend growing up, Jessica, sent me pictures of her little guy and he is just sooo cute I have to show them off! His name is Elliot and he is just the spitting image of his mama!

I feel so much better! I just had one of those killer migraines today where nothing but hot showers, puking, and sleeping will cure lol! It was just a busy, busy day and I forgot to take my medicine first thing this morning, so I don’t know how much that had to do with it, but then Chris and I had an appointment at 8:45am and then class at 10 and then I had another appointment at 1pm, which I got out of just in time to pick up the kids from school… and I didn’t get to eat anywhere in there so I was just on the road to no where fast! The headache took hold about 2pm and by the time I had to get the boys, I thought it might explode! Lucky for me it did not lol! It’s several hours later and I’m feeling much better thanks to my husband who did the dishes while I was napping and dealt with the children AND made me a wonderful dinner to boot of Strip Steak and asparagas. Right now I’m enjoying my dessert of cottage cheese and peaches and recovering from the fact that we lose another American Idol this week… Elliot Yamin. He’s an amazing singer and such a good person (I know you all think I’m crazy, but if you could have seen this boys mother and the love he has for her and his family… you would know he’s a good person too lol). I hope that he has a very productive career and while I’m happy to see Katharine make it through to the final 2, it was really hard to see Elliot go!

I predict Katharine gets sent home tonight, but I don’t think she deserves it. I think Elliott should go home. They were all good, but he was the least good of the three.
But Katharine, wow, she BLEW ME AWAY with her performance last night of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. I literally started to tear up it was so beautiful.
We’ll see what happens in an hour.
PMS has hit and it has hit HARD! I’m in a 24 hour period (no pun intended) of nastiness, vile, angry, mean, punchy, cruel, yelling… there is just no limit to my upsetedness (I dare you to call me on all of the sentance errors that I just made). PLUS, I’m on exile of sugar… AND Chris got his BOX of Take 5 candy bars AND I asked for one AND he GAVE IT TO ME! What in the world?! ugh………….

It was a lovely day all around. In the morning I was brought breakfast in bed (poptarts, my favorite) and given some beautiful cards. I also received a daisy plant
that I’m sure will bring me lots of daisies (also, my favorite)! Then in the afternoon the Thraps came back and the men made fetuccini alfredo for dinner while the kids played and watched movies and I took lots of pictures of Elena
being cute! We even had a chance to get a little Rook
in there, and I’m not sure, but I’m thinking that Becca and I kicked some Rookin’ bootay (what was the score boys???). All in all it was a fun day, even if the girls tried to ruin it by flooding Audrey’s bedroom lol!
