Your mom goes to college.

Now, I’m not usually into such a hairstyle, but as of late we’ve been watching “So You Think You Can Dance” and I really dig Ivan’s mohawk which is much less extreme. So here it is… Michael’s version of the “Ivan” Mohawk

What a fun show! I’ve seen lots of talk about it, but you know… people talk about tv and I’m only one person, at some point high amounts of t.v. consumption just makes you look bad… I digress. Anyhoo, Becca asks me to tape this for her and I say sure, cause I’ve been meaning to see what the fuss is all about. So tonight Chris goes to bed and I’m just not feeling well STILL so I decide to wait for nausea to pass by watching some t.v. and turned on Project Runway. Oh my heck, it was like living inside a designer’s studio and watching their design make its way from their mind to the model which I found sooo intriguing! So, I guess now I’m addicted, plus I’m giving Rock Star: Supernova a chance since I do love me some American Idol… but so far, it’s only lukewarm for me although I’ve only seen one episode. Sometimes I’m ashamed that I love t.v. so much, but then I think… I could be addicted to drugs so I guess this isn’t too bad lol.
It was also Chris’s birthday as the title of the post eluded to. He got to go to one of his favorite restaurants with some friends of his and tomorrow another friend of his is treating him to yet another birthday meal, so all in all I think he made out well. The kids showered him with Happy Birthday hugs and kisses all day too, just to show him how special he was.

Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve written a real post so I guess I should stop being so lazy and just do it. I had my midterm yesterday for my six week summer course, and it seemed to go fine. There were only a few questions I had to give deep thought to, so I suppose that is a good sign.
Audrey has lost two of her bottom teeth and is quite cute! Also adding to her cuteness is that she has stayed dry overnight for the past two nights, and working on a third. She is very thrilled with herself and I look forward to being all out of diapers and pull ups (whether that sticks, I guess the future will see). Michael is loving t-ball and working each day on his quarterback arm (I’m not even sure if that is the right football lingo) in the backyard.
We are recovering here from a fun week with the Thrap family. It seems like the week went so fast, but I can’t really think why that was. The men got to see Superman, and convinced us wives to let them take the young boys to see it with them again. Becca and I had fun checking out the family store and goodwill for all the great bargains. The men took all the kids fishing with them and Audrey had a fun trip to the Drs office later when she got a hook in her foot, but in the men’s defense they had been telling her to get her shoes on… she’s alright though, her tetanus was up to date and the toe healed fine.
Other than that life is right where it has always been.
