The Wheeler Family

This is how I feel… right… now…

yeah, I have to study, I don’t want to… not that I have something else better to do besides sleep because btw, I don’t! I love this child welfare class, but I gotta say, it’s not something that I’m ever feeling like I can’t wait to sit down and do the reading! Becca came down this weekend (honestly, I think that it will be several WEEKS now that we have to go without seeing each other). Friday night was our crapbooking night. We stayed up into the wee hours working on ONE page. I think she actually might have done a layout, but I can’t remember for the life of me what she did. I went and found my prehistoric scrapbook I made when Michael was a baby and took out all of the good pictures and made them into one grand page in Michael’s book. This was no small undertaking… start to finish was… well, to avoid the laughter I’ll just say it took me awhile, but I had it done by Saturday morning lol. During the day on Saturday before the trunk or treat at church, Becca and I were sucked in the sale vortex at Hobby Lobby. My heavens, they had stamps and punches and stickers for 50% off… it’s just not fair! lol I had to leave Becca there and head on to church. The plan was for her to meet me at the trunk or treat, but she never quite made it there after getting sucked into yet another vortex at the Salvation Army quarter day. I can’t blame her, I do it myself. Once home the children just seemed overwhelming (though there were only 3 of them, and 2 were mine) and I just coulnd’t wait for their bedtime. Unfortunately, due to the late night of Friday, I could not stay up late again and went to bed after completing one quick page. In the morning, Becca and Elena went home and we prepared for church. It was primary program Sunday and the kids did GREAT! I could see both of them behaving (for the most part) and singing! It was fun. Later in the afternoon Chris took the kids out of the house for awhile and I was able to study for awhile, which was great. I went visiting teaching tonight, but now I’m back in the studying saddle… and I guess I should surrender the fantasy and just get back to work!
