Oh how I can’t wait until Wednesday. Wednesday means the 2006 midterm elections will be over.
What this means is no more phone calls. For the past few weeks we have been getting TONS of calls from the likes of President Bush, Laura Bush, Jim Nussle, and whoever else keeps calling. Seriously, we’ve been getting like four or five calls a day, which is probably about triple the amount of calls we normally get.
Wednesday means no more political mail. We’re probably averaging three pieces of mail each day in behalf of different candidates. Chet Culver, Jim Nussle, Republican National Committee, Democratic National Committee. It all goes in the trash.
Wednesday means no more television ads. I hate political television ads because they’re so negative. Why don’t candidates try telling us why we should vote FOR them instead of AGAINST the other guy? Actually, Wednesday will probably bring no relief in regards to television for the following reason: we DVR most of our television shows to watch later, so anything recorded from now until Tuesday has the potential to be with us for at least a week while we catch up.
Anyways, all of these phone calls and all of this mail we’ve received in the past few weeks is pointless. Why? I voted two weeks ago.

You know, you probably wouldn’t get so many annoying calls from the likes of the Bushs etc if you weren’t so republican. LOL
They must know we don’t politically matter, because we haven’t gotten any of the above mentioned mail or phone calls to my knowledge!
I think it’s cause Chris gave Bush $5 three years ago!
That may be. I was pretty generous with my contribution. You know us Republicans, the party of the rich.
