It’s a day late, but still sincere! Last week with the Thraps was a blast. Becca and I were in Christmas card mode… which is nothing like scrapbooking mode! We got burnt out quickly lol, but she managed to get quite a few done and I got about 10 done. I think I might forgo Christmas cards this year lol… I’m not sure I have 20 more cards in me! Also this past week at Thraps, for a couple nights Becca and I lost our gift for Canasta and the guys were kicking our cans! Luckily, the last night we got our groove back and killed them by 3000 points lol… not that it’s funny, cause they do NOT like loosing! We also got to take a trip to the Science Center, which we all had fun with. We had a contest at the egg dropping center to see who could design the lightest and best package for an egg that would survive the 20 foot fall. Becca beat me with a rating of 3, but Josh came in late with a reading of 1 for the win! However, Becca will tell you that he was unable to duplicate his low score, so she is not sure that it counts lol. Either way, we all had fun, but since Chris had taken Michael, Audrey, and Cameron early in the afternoon (and by the time we left, had been there for FIVE hours) he was TIRED.
We all came back to this side of the state on Wednesday so that I could take care of my parents horses while they were on vacation. Michael was a HUGE help to me on Wednesday, and then Becca came and spent the night with me Wednesday while the guys kept all the kids at our house. Becca and I sat in the hot tub and then we… went to bed lol. We were tired! Thanksgiving we spent with Chris’s family which was nice. We couldn’t stay too long since I had to get back in time to feed the horses before it got dark.
Now vacation is over and it’s time for HARD work since it’s the end of the semester. I’ve only got two weeks left!
Sooo sorry that I’ve not yet posted dear!!! Since my blog was down I was really not spending much time idling at the computer, but I’ve missed it–and you, and I’m so grateful to be back up and running and idling. LOL Actually, I’ve been away from the comp a lot also because I spent the holidays with you (lovely, can’t wait to see you again) and because now that it is December I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off (which, really, is Josh’s specialty, not mine) trying to get ready for all the birthdays and birthday parties and Christmas parties and Christmas etc… Anywhoo, miss you, love you, come back and visit me (and my blog) soon!
