Happy New Year to you all…

I hope that you and yours have a lovely evening and that 2007 is a rockin year!

I am craptacular

Probably not how you spell it, but I am… I won’t go into specifics but lets just say I am jealous of people who are good, loving, wonderful people who deserve so much the thing that I am jealous about.  AND, just to show how craptacular I am, I can NOT even look at pictures of the people enjoying the things that I can not because it makes me cry and feel sick.  What a day, and the best part is… it’s only 49 minutes in, that is promising isn’t it?!

Alright, that is it, I am OFFICIALLY pathetic!

I just googled “bored” and couldn’t find anything interesting to look at.  SERIOUSLY

The perils of Christmas vacation…

You rush around day after day at the holidays and then FINALLY there is a day where you have nothing else to do but relax and surprisingly you find yourself bored. BORED. Shocking, but true. What is one to do? There is but one answer…

Return to the ease and comfort of childhood via daytime television. It sounds so nice doesn’t it? Sure, until you try to actually watch the shows you cherished as a child with the cynicism of an adult. And, that’s why that NO work! Oh my heck, seriously… I used to love the Price is Right, but now Bob Barker just seems like a ridiculously pushy old man and all of the “prizes” seem like cheap knock-offs to their expensive counterparts. And WHAT is with the commercials??? Does NO ONE under 50 watch television in the daytime???

I am very sad today

I have lost the tangible rewards of friendship today, and my heart hurts very much.  I have not lost the friendship, because she will always be one of my dearest friends.  I just want you to know, my friend, I will miss you but the door is always open when you are able to come back.

Nine zany, wacky, loving, action-packed, and wonderful years!

Happy Anniversary Chris!  In all honesty it doesn’t feel like it’s been nine years, but I hope for many, many more!!!

Love you!!!

We are home and we have new carpet!

We are going to be putting the house back together in a few minutes and then there will be pictures coming… though they will be small lol!

My inability to focus on my cleaning is pathetic…

Seriously, those of you who know me, know that end of semester means DEEP CLEAN!  This time I just wasn’t motivated when the time came.  So what usually takes me 12 hours straight through has taken me 4 days!  Still I am NOT done!  It’s ridiculous!  Anytime I have to come into my room I am drawn to the computer where I sit and LOOK for things to look at… not that I have anything interesting to look up I just run through all of my favorites like a dork hoping to find something that will distract me for a little bit… I call this a break though it generally takes an hour.  UGH!  We are getting new carpet in the living room and dining room and I have to get all that furniture moved so I know that the cleaning has to be done, and once it’s done it’s DONE so that’s nice, but still… nooooo motivation!

Wheeler Christop

OK, so today I was taking my exam, and filling in the Scantron form, you know, the kind where you have to fill in the bubbles and stuff. Nothing new today, exact same form, but for some reason, when my whole name doesn’t fit, I got REALLY annoyed. I mean, who’s bright idea is it to limit the number of characters to 16? It’s not just Scantron forms, because I get mail quite frequently addressed to “Christop Wheeler”.

I guess there is probably a really good explanation for this; I would suppose that 16 characters was some sort of limiting factor at the dawn of scanning test forms and stuff. But now, I don’t see a reason they can’t change it. How freaking hard can that be?

Ever wanted to feel like a genius?

Then tune in to “1 vs. 100″ on NBC Friday nights at 8pm. Watch that show for an hour and you’ll feel like Albert Einstein.

Here is an example of a question from this past weeks episode:

QUESTION: Which of these animals has the fewest amount of cells?
a) Eastern Grey squirrel
b) Calista Flockhart
c) An amoeba

And the lady had no idea.

Another guy, who claimed to work with computers every day, had a hard time with this one:

QUESTION: Which of these is the largest?
a) gigabyte
b) megabyte
c) kilobyte

He didn’t seem very certain about his (correct) answer, which is gigabyte. Come on! If he struggled with this question, he probably should be out of a job.
