She lost her tooth last Friday night!!!

For you Becca… a post! Not much is going on around our house. It IS clean for once though! Audrey lost her first tooth on the top so she’s been extra cute this week. Michael grew this week I think and is starting to look like a young man which is really freaking me out!
Ummm… I sent in my paperwork back to the school of social work, accepting my acceptance and filled out my fafsa. Soon I will meet with my advisor to figure out what classes I can take this summer and next fall and orientation is April 24! I am scared to death, but really excited too.
We are all looking forward to summer I think. I know Chris and I both will be taking classes, but Chris has his BBQ competition schedule and it looks like it will be a busy time for us. Thankfully it usually means extra time with the Thraps. I’m always down for that!!!

I just found out about 30 minutes ago that I was accepted into the graduate program for the school of social work! YAYYYYYY!
And I could NOT be happier this year. Winter was a real hoover-fest this year… first it was all warm and there was no snow for Christmas THEN we couldn’t stop getting snow AND an ice storm! NOT FUN! So this year, I happily welcome the spring… which Michael keeps reminding me is not until TOMORROW lol. It was a great day today so I told the kids we could go outside and play catch, but it was too windy so I thought… HEY, why not get out our KITE!
We ran around outside for almost an hour and a half somewhat succeeding to get the kite going. Oh well… it was still fun!

I want to give a happy, excited, and joyful shout out to Mike, Candace, and Eva Laughead!!! Congratulations on your new little girl Penelope Kay!!! We are so thrilled and can’t wait to see some pictures of the sure-to-be-adorable little sister of Eva!!!
Starting Wednesday fast food fans in Southern California will be able to try the Angus Third Pounder, a beefy sandwich that McDonald’s bills as “new hope for our nation of beef lovers.”
Comprised of a third-pound of USDA-inspected Angus beef — which is widely purported to be a superior meat — the burger comes in three varieties, allowing the consumer to choose toppings ranging from American cheese, Swiss cheese, mushrooms and bacon.
Wow McDonald’s, welcome to the party, a few years too late. Burger King and Hardee’s offer similar burgers, and theirs are flame-broiled and taste better.
Finally! Do you realize how ridiculously hard it is to live without internet once you are used to it? I’m grateful to be speeding along the world wide web again!
In other wonderful news… I have a huge test on Thursday and then SPRING BREAK! This semester has gone by outrageously fast and I’m still waiting to find out about grad school! I just want to know!!!
So, if you are wondering why I haven’t updated my blog…well, it’s because our internet is down at home! Yep! That’s right… the power went off during the freak ice storm last weekend during Michael’s birthday and now our internet is fizzled. I am updating from Chris’s work while Michael is at a birthday party and Audrey and Chris are going to a recital. UGH! Seriously, I want my internet back!!!
