So this morning Michael and Audrey were talking over breakfast and Michael said,”I have to give Giani a hug today.” Of course, this peaked my interest because we have had several discussions about if his classmates/friends are comfortable with giving hugs like he is. So I say…
ME: “Michael, no, I really don’t think that is appropriate”
MICHAEL: “Whhhhhhhy?”
ME: “We’ve talked about this before, Michael. It’s just not appropriate at school.”
Long pause….
MICHAEL: “Mom… I said hugs, not drugs. I just want to give a HUG.”
How do you argue with that

You have such a sweet boy. Last night my little fella showed me all the little girls that he LIKES. It’s hard to keep up, honestly.
