OK, so you know when you’re at the fast food drive-thru and it says on the menu board “Ask us about our special toy for children under 3″? Well, apparently if we’re in the drive-thru at McDonald’s, and she’s trying to order, and I ask about the toy, Kate gets embarrassed or something and starts laughing and can’t stop. But when you’re at Wendy’s a few minutes later and do the same thing, she doesn’t laugh. How weird is that?
OK, so this was daaaaaaaaaaaays ago AND the story is VASTLY misrepresented!

Ok, so we were leaving Muscatine and the kids were SOMEHOW still hungry after we had just had dinner with my parents (well, ok, not JUST had dinner, we had stopped at Chris’s grandma’s for a little bit too) and so I said I had enough change in the car that I could get them ONE thing from the dollar menu, but Audrey insisted that she HAD to have chicken nuggests which McDonald’s doesn’t have on the $1, so we had to go to Wendy’s instead because you know, the children, they run our lives lol.
