Taco in a bowl, I like to call it! I’m forcing myself to believe that it is just as scrumptious as a regular taco. It’s at least as filling, if not more.

Who are you calling a cootie queen? You lint-licker!

The key, to me, with taco salad is the salsa. Lots of salsa makes it feel heavier. Oh, and BY the way. I bought that salad spritzers by wishbone. OH my it is sooo good. I bought the Asian Silk and seriously it tastes like a sin and yet…it sooo isnt.
Does sin taste good? Salsa is a good idea, but I don’t like salsa! Chris really likes salsa on his taco salad, so that’s a good idea!
I’m not a fan of salsa on my taco salad but I always make sure to have sour cream and lots of cheese. I like to crumble up a few chips to add some crunch to it, too. I LOVE taco salad.
I like ranch or thousand island on my taco salad and I know that’s a little weird, but I’m not the only one. Of course both of those add more calories but there are fat-free alternatives that I think I’ve checked that aren’t any worse for carbs. I guess it all depends on what you put IN the taco salad in the first place.
