So this morning I woke up and read the DI online and there was this article about how T9 (the predicative text messaging software) doesn’t include any swear words, so it makes it much harder for people to swear in a text message. Really? This constitutes news? Why in the world would anyone write this? And who came up with this idea? It is really stupid.
I have no idea why that was printed, but much more noteworthy was yesterday’s headline about Muscatine County being the 3rd worst (out of 3140) county in the nation in terms of hazardous air emissions. Evidently, even short-term exposure to the atmospheric ozone and other pollutants there can irreparably damage lung epithelium. Remind me to bring a gas mask the next time I head down there!
I wonder which counties were worse? I’m sure the cesspit containing Gary, IN tops the list!
