I think you’re getting Jack Bauer confused with Chuck Norris, Chris.

And Hal, I’m not even saying that those two shows are “the best ever” (wouldn’t that have to go to The Tonight Show or something that has been on forever and is still watched by many people?) I was just giving two examples of current shows that are awesome, compared to the show 24, which I could barely stand through one season. If only they all had been killed at the end…

Chris, are there any seasons of 24 that aren’t as irritating as season 1? That don’t have people continually getting kidnapped and escaping and then having amnesia? Also, isn’t Jack Bauer an adulterer? Doesn’t that make him not as cool as someone that stays true to his wife?

Also, Chris, have you even watched one season of Lost? I’ve given your show a try, will you do the same for mine?

Slow pitch softball is great, but greater than neither euchre or 24. I certainly do love it though.

The Lone Ranger? I’ve never even seen it. I bet it isn’t as cool as watching you and Mike sing “Ring of Fire” though.

Jack Bauer does not need to pick up a horse. He would tell the horse to jump, and the horse would listen.

I’ll agree with you on Lost, not even close.

Jack Bauer is hardly evil. He just knows what he needs to do to get the job done.

Jack Bauer is timeless, without beginning or end, so it is conceivable that he could have invented euchre before you were born.

OK Mike, here we go.

Yes, 24 is the greatest show of all time. The Office is the greatest sitcom of all time, but not the greatest show of all time. Lost? Is that some sort of amateur film or something?

And come on, U2’s Mustard Pizza Bash? Really? They won’t go for it, I’ve already pitched it. But until the pilot airs, I have to maintain that 24 is the greatest show ever.

What a wonderful convoluted tale that you have woven Chris. However as Mike pointed out there a few discrepancies in your logic.

Jack Bauer couldn’t have invented Euchre since I have been playing it longer than he has been alive. 24 is not even close to the best TV show ever (and Mike, the office and lost aren’t any closer). And Jack Bauer is probably the most evil person in the universe but hardly the most powerful. Have you ever seen him pick up a horse?

I’m not saying that Jack Bauer isn’t tough and stuff and I think euchre could be called 24, but saying that 24 is the greatest show of all time…? I mean, what if U2 decided to create a sitcom where they just drank Sprite and ate Boetje’s mustard on Harris Pizza? I guess they could fight terrorists too. Wouldn’t you have to call that show (tentatively titled, U2’s Mustard Pizza Bash) the best show ever? Plus, The Office and Lost are better than 24.
